Hi! My name is Lisa Brown, and I am taking courses to finish my alternative IV certification for Library Media Specialist. I have taken several classes in building web pages and other related items, but thought this would be a good class to add to my bag of tricks. I'm really looking forward to learning new technologies, but a little nervous too!

I currently work at our public school as an LMS, and have been our public library's children's librarian for the past 9 1/2 years. My children are 15 and 10, and are very tech-savvy! At my school job, my skills have been tested this year, and I am proud to say we are working our way towards adding new technology on a small budget. It's exciting! I try to remember that there is a lesson to be learned in every frustration or new challenge.
