Borrowing it is considered the highest form of flattery. Bubbleshare is so easy to use and you can embed audio into it (30 sec per slide). You may want to check out Voicethread as well.

for the intro. One thing I love about teaching courses like this is different backgrounds people are coming from. We have K-12 covered....looking forward to your perspective on the tools and the thinking.

I couldn't agree more. Technology is to the point that if we're not using it in the classroom I'm not sure you could be called a "Great" Teacher. The global advancements in the past 5 years have let to a shift in the way things are done on a global scale. There are new skills and a new literacy we need to be teaching our students. All because of technology and the advancements that continue to take place.
I'm looking forward to learning from you!

I am afraid I am being rather fearless about exploring and jumping in without fully understanding how the wiki works. Now I see an answer to my question. The technology is so much a part of the lives of the students and a wonderful tool. I think I have good technical skills and I see how the new technology can be a little intimidating for the average teacher with limited skills. I can certainly can tell them with credibility that everyone has to be trained and learn by mistakes and how valuable the tools are when we can use them effectively. Sadly, too many teachers just walk away when things do not work easily the first time.

Just moved your page under the Profile header and helped to resize your picture. That's the great collaborative nature of a wiki. Anyone can help, fix, edit any page as they go.
